Deductability
The comedian
and former loose sherry drinker Frank Skinner paid 11,000 for a shirt that had
been owned by Elvis Presley. The
entertainer wore the garment on a number of occasions while performing or more
making public appearances. His reason
for doing so was so that he could claim his outlay against tax on the basis
that he had purchased it as an item of stagewear.
