All Hallows Church
The All
Hallows Church in Lombard Street was demolished in 1939. Portions of it were re-erected in Twickenham.

Christ Church Newgate Street
In 1546
King Henry VIII gave St Nicholas Shambles to the Corporation of the City of
London. The parish was merged with St
Ewin to create Christ Church Newgate Street.
St Nicholas was demolished the following year.
Christ
Church Newgate Street was also known as Christ Church Greyfriars. The body of the Wren church was destroyed by
aerial bombing during the Second World War.
Its tower survived. Following the
return of peace a decision was made not to rebuild the church.

St Dunstan-in-the-East
St
Dunstan-in-the-East was destroyed by aerial bombing in 1941.
The St
Dunstan-in-the-East garden opened in 1967.

St Faith's-under-St Paul s
St
Faith s-under-St Paul's was the stationers church. It was destroyed during the Great Fire. The Mosley family kept stock there that may
have included now lost works by Shakespeare.
The parish was merged with St Augustine Watling Street.
